Beautiful Americana!

This beautiful quilt was done at FarmFest at the end of summer I believe.  I think it was a border challenge quilt that used many colors that were not exactly what she was planning for, but she did a clever job incorprating them!

This picture shows the fun Pretty Paisley panto I used!  (Can you spot the hot pink Barbie lips?!)

I LOVE these fabrics and need to make a quilt with these colors sometime soon!

Tropical Sunkiss

This batik quilt is so cool how it uses the light and darks to make the stars appear.

It has the Whirlygig panto on it and it resembles a sun type image.

The texture is just enough!

Perfectly Pink

This sweet quilt was made for a wonderful granddaughter.

There was lots of pink and purple used!  I did a winding plume inside.

The outer border had a double feather to match!

Just enough soft texture to make it luscious!

The back has nice texture.

Terrific Tumbler!

This is a beautiful tumbler quilt!

I used the Chinese Cresent Pantograph.

It adds a soft flow and I used So Fine quilting thread.

The back looked great too with just some nice texture.

Remember this quilt? It did well!

This beautiful batik quilt was made as a wedding gift.

It is so striking!  I believe my client worked on it at a retreat a couple of years ago and was finally able to put it in our guild's show this year.

The triangles have a couple different types of quilting and the dark blue background had a fun ferny type of  swirl design.

Inside contained some hearts and fern designs as well.

Here is the fern/leafy design in the strips.

The varigated thread she decided on was a great choice!  It really added to the quilt!

Hopefully I can get a full picture of it hanging at the show because it took Best in Workmanship!  Great job Kathi!

AHH! Whisper!

This pattern for this quilt is called, "Whisper", but I think it is too dramatic for a whisper!

The beautiful colors are more Northern Lights, than anything.

I used the Eb and Flow pattern on it.  It definately has a nice soft flow!

Almost makes me want snow!

This little wall hanging makes me want it to snow!  The soft colors and the shimmery thread remind me of the way fresh fallen snow glitters in the sunlight.

I used a snowflake panto from The Patternman on it.

I used Superior Threads Glitter, color Silver, on this quilt and it has a nice little sparkle to it.
