Maple Leaf Delight!

This beautiful quilt was made by a special grandma.  The top was hand-pieced and marked for quilting, but grandma passed away before she could quilt it.  I had the honor of finishing it and the granddaughter can delight in using the quilt now and displaying it for all to remember grandma!

The solid colors give it an almost modern look!

Each leaf has three smaller leaves and outlines.

The open areas are just quarter inched around to add dimension.
Beautiful quilt!

Stinky Feet

This is a sweet little baby quilt made called, "Stinky Feet".  It has a sweet story behind the name...a good friend, Tammy Tadd, (who designed the quilt), would tuck her little ones in at night, grab their feet, smell them and say, "OWWW!  Stinky Feet!"  all would giggle and soon be off to sleep.

Painted Flowers

This quilt was made for a shop to sell the pattern.  Rumore has it, that it didn't hang very long before someone came in and bought the quilt!  Hopefully there aren't too many patterns left!

Full sunflower.

I think these are poppies?

The background of flowers was swirled and the flowers just got some texture.

I just did some serendipity lines in the green pieces.

In the black I did some geometric type of lines and just flowed with the leaves and the stems.

Contemporary Tress

Who wouldn't enjoy these trees?  I would LOVE to grow these!

I did and allover looped swirl on these tress.

The trunks just had some wavy lines.

The centers of the trees contained some geometric lines, some waves and some zig zags.

The purple was corduroy and I swirled it.

The center has geometric lines.
