Oh those Pink and Browns!

 

This quilt is hard to see how pretty it really is!  I have a love for pinks and browns and this quilt fits the bill.

 

I used the Pretty Paisley pattern on this quilt and it fit perfectly because the fabrics had a bunch of paisleys on them!

 

Where have I been?



 First of all, here is my goofy husband (in blue) (and 90 others!) getting ready to ride Triple D...a race in Dubuque, IA, that is over 65 miles on a "fat bike" in the freezing cold!  (And he calls ME the crazy one!)

 

 

Well, here is a picture of my studio with my 2006 Millenium before she left me!

 

 

Here is a naked picture of my quilt studio without my baby.  It looks so weird and bare!

But in this next picture, my new baby arrived!

 

 

I love the red bow!  Never received anything with a BIG red bow, like on all those car commercials!

 

Here she is!  Up, and ready to do some serious quilting!

Ok, so I sold my 2006 Millennium and have finally upgraded to a 2013 with Bliss!  My husband decorated it with the lovely painter's tape that came wrapped on all the leaders!  I am so happy with it!  She quilts like a dream!  The next posts will have pictures of the first quilts I completed on it.

This quilt is really cool.  I love this green cheveron print!

 

I used the Pretty Paisley panto on this one.

 

I hope she liked this Christmas present!

Fun Sampler quilt

First attempt at wool! (Continued from earlier post)

 

Here is a glimpse of the borders.  Feathers and circle swirls.

Here is the backing...a little hard to see, but lots of texture!

This neat traditional quilt has just a hint of wool added!

 

 

Each of these blocks contain a flower pot and flowers.

 

 

The other blocks were treated with a little curved cross hatching and continuous line design.

 

 

Here you can see how the applique blocks are somewhat framed.

 

Great I Spy Quilt!

 

This sweet quilt offers a unending array of items to spy!  How fun for a small child to grow with!

 

I used the Pantograph Eb and Flow.  What a neat contemporary texture.

 

Popcorn, Dr.Seus, monkeys, balls, trucks, the list goes on forever!  I love all the novelty prints!
